
This apple cake was the saddest, cutest, most perfect and terrible thing all at the same time! I made two mini bundnt red velvet cakes, and stacked them on top of each other. We covered it in icing and made green fondant. Now I've had some REALLY bad fondant expieriences but this batch was perfection, smooth, stiffish, it was insane. But then when we tried to cover it...... It slid off, got stuck to it, folded the wrong way, just disaster! So we cut it all off and hid a HUGE seam in the back, made a cute worm, a stem and it was fine. I put my self through the terror because my dad passed his teaching test; hence the apple. It just goes to show that when it comes to cakes, if things don't turn out the way you plan, cut it off and start over!
